Welcome to GigLynq. By creating an account and using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. What GigLynq Is

GigLynq is a marketplace that connects bands and musicians with venues for live music bookings. We provide the platform — the tools, messaging, and booking infrastructure — but we are not a party to any booking agreement between a band and a venue. All bookings, deals, and payments between bands and venues are directly between those parties.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By signing up you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you are legally authorized to enter into agreements on behalf of any band or venue you represent.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your profile.
• You may not create fake venue or band profiles, or impersonate another person or entity.
• You may not create multiple accounts for the same band or venue.
• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at chris@giglynq.app.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use GigLynq to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent show listings
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Spam other users with unsolicited messages
• Attempt to circumvent or hack the platform
• Use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable law
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce content from the platform without permission

5. Bookings and Payments

GigLynq facilitates connections between bands and venues but is not responsible for the outcome of any booking. We take no commission on bookings made through the platform. Any payment arrangements, contracts, or disputes between bands and venues are solely between those parties. We strongly recommend that both parties confirm all booking details in writing before the show date.

6. Show Listings and Accuracy

Venues are responsible for the accuracy of any show listing they post. Bands who post shows on behalf of a venue must have authorization from that venue to do so. GigLynq reserves the right to remove listings that appear fraudulent or that have been disputed by the venue listed.

7. Pro Subscriptions

GigLynq Pro is a paid subscription available to bands ($9/month) and venues ($29/month). Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain Pro access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

8. Content You Post

You retain ownership of any content you post to GigLynq — your profile information, photos, links, and bio. By posting content, you grant GigLynq a non-exclusive license to display that content on the platform and in marketing materials that promote the platform. We will not sell your content to third parties.

9. Content We May Remove

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you if your account is suspended.

10. Disclaimers

GigLynq is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times, that all listings are accurate, or that any booking made through the platform will be fulfilled. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including lost revenue from cancelled or no-show bookings.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of GigLynq after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
